I just want to be there now. It’s the first time I’ve been excited about something in a long time. If I didn’t love my roommates so much I would skip second semester entirely and go in January.
To help with my excitement, I’m making a bucket list of things I wanna do while I’m there:
1. Learn how to surf (I’ve wanted to do this forever!!! I also want to get back into body boarding)
2. Go to the national ballet
3. Go to a performance of the national opera
4. Go to a Aussie rules football game
5. Try Vegemite…
6. Go kite boarding
7. Go to the reef
8. Go out with an Australian boy :) preferably a new Zealand/Samoan ;)
9. Find someone with a legit family history tribal tattoo and learn what it means
10. Get a tattoo (maybes. this was dandans idea)

I also haven’t actually gotten in the program yet….***fingers crossed***
Going out with the bartender tomorrow :) and I’m actually excited about it.
